Some more New Domains for Live.com Passport Account

A few weeks back I posted about how you can get more domains choices for your Live.com passport account. But here is another more Live IDs that you can choose to register.

  1. Go to the registration page.
  2. Copy and paste this javascript code in your address toolbar.
  3. Hit Enter .

You will get a pop-up message box saying that “More Live IDs have been added!“. That’s mean the javascript works. Now you can start register your own new Live account.

Here is the list of the available domains:

  • microsoft.com
  • microsoft.com.au

  • CUSTOM.COM – If you discover another domain that you want to use, Just Find “CUSTOM.COM” in the script and change it to “WHATEVER.COM/NET/ORG/COM.AU/CO.UK etc…”

Firefox and IE Vulnerable to Password Theft

A software security researcher has warned that the password manager features of Mozilla’s open source, Firefox 2.0 and Microsoft’s (Nasdaq: MSFT), Internet Explorer (IE) Web browsers could be exploited, placing unsuspecting users at risk.

Users of Firefox or Explorer, both of which may be vulnerable to the attack known as “Reverse Cross Site Request” (RCSR), are not fooled directly by the password theft exploit. Instead, it provides a fake login site that fools a browser’s saved password feature into automatically providing the information, Robert Chapin, president of Chapin Information Services, reported.

Microsoft and Mozilla acknowledge about this probem. While waiting for the next update for this security issue, please disable Passwod Manager in your Firefox.

Cypher: Btw incase you don’t know yet, you also can discover saved passwords in Firefox. It is really dangerous if your computer use by multiple users.

Publish your post while you are away

This is why I like using WordPress. You can do so many things with it. Here I will teach you how to publish your post even you are on vacation. This tricks kinda old. I’m sure there are some of you have knew about it. It is just we set the date and time when we want to publish that post. Ok here is how to do it.

  1. Just type your post as usual.
  2. Before you click on Publish, make sure you set the time when you want your post been published. To do this, you set it at the Post Timestamp. It is located at the sidebar in the New Post page.
  3. Then click Publish.

When the time reach, your post will be published automatically. So it is easier for you who are hardcore bloggers who always want to update your site daily. :d

Add StumbleUpon in your WordPress

That is why I love using WordPress for my website. You can do so many things with it. Lately I read about how LiewCF integrate StumbleUpon on his website. To do it is really simple.

  1. Open up your single.php (index.php is also can) file.
  2. Put this code in the file.

    <ahref=”http://www.stumbleupon.com/submit?url=<?php the_permalink(); ?>&title=<?php the_title(); ?>”><img src=”http://www.stumbleupon.com/images/stumble1.gif” alt=”Stumble It!”></a>

  3. Make sure you put that code in the loop or it will not work.
  4. Done!

If you don’t want image as the link for the StumbleUpon, you can replace it with simple text like Stumble It!, Thumbs Up!, etc. I know that you guys are creative. Lol… :d [tags]stumbleupon, tips, stumble[/tags]

Microsoft Firefox 2007 – We’ve Made it Better

Check this out, Microsoft Firefox 2007 Professional Edition.

At first when I look at this site, I can see that it is not a website from Microsoft. And why should Microsoft use Google AdSense on their site. Want to generate more incomes? Lol… Btw they offer free @msfirefox.com email account. If you want, you can signup at their site but beware, I’m not sure whether this website belongs to Microsoft or not.
