Kaspersky Ambassador, Datuk Lee Chong Wei – credit, Wirespot
In your opinion, what is the best antivirus software for Windows 7? What antivirus software do you use to protect your computer?
I am using Kaspersky Internet Security 2011. I have been using Kaspersky since 2005. From Windows XP and now using Windows 7, I still believe that Kaspersky is the best antivirus software that able to protect my computer and help me fight against the viruses very well.
Why I choose Kaspersky? First, it is light and does not use a lot of resources to run. Second, I can adjust the settings (advanced settings) and set it what I want. Third, it is compatible to run together with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware without having any problem. Lastly, because Datuk Lee Chong Wei and Jackie Chan are their ambassador (just kidding).
But yup, if you asked me what is the best antivirus software for Windows, I will say Kaspersky. How about you?
I choose Microsoft Security Essential…
This is the first time I know about Microsoft Security Essential. 🙂
I prefer Microsoft Security Essential (MSE) + Malwarebytes for my window 7…
Another user using MSE. Is it free? Maybe I will try it on my sis laptop first and see how it performs.
Its free..
MSE is free, it will show up in Windows Updates if the system detects no antivirus software on the system.
Sounds good. It includes with Firewall, right?
I use Sunbelt Software’s Vipre Premium because like K. it uses barely any resouces, has built in firewall, very compatible with Malwarebytes. Lots of settings for the experts and very easy to use if you want something simple. Another big BONUS their tech support team is superb! They offer FREE tech support and even FREE malware/virus removal to all subscribers at no additional cost.
I used to use Avira for the longest time but switched over because of Sunbelt’s reputable tech support team.
The price is cheaper than Kaspersky. That’s great. But how does it performs? I mean, can it detects most of the viruses found on the computer?
i need serial number ….
because I already bought the product kaspersky
When you bought the software, you will also get the activation key. Kaspersky will send it by SMS.
Microsoft Security Essential is receiving pretty good feedback and very well recommended. I’m using Avira myself, too lazy to make the switch.
Kaspersky is the best for me, complete and always updated automatically.
i vote for Kaspersky for today/currently. as im using it for past 2 years i think. now with win7, Kaspersky still does it excellent job. still feel that other AV not powerful as Kaspersky, but who knows, tomorrow it will change…
if u think kaspersky uses less resources,
have u tried eset smart security ?
lightest and fastest antivirus on the planet
kaspersky sucks,
it makes ur system slow,
eset is the best
I did. Nod32 is also good and uses less computer resources. But it lacks of advance settings which I need.
Microsoft Security Essential.
If you want to effectively protect your computer, AVG AntiVirus Free is a good tool to immunize all the attacks that can eventually suffer from the web. i just recently downloaded AVG @ spanish.200sharewarelinks.com
MSE is the best free antivirus from Microsoft. I choose KAV for licensed antivirus
Microsoft security essentials is the best I have used since it’s been out not one virus malware has got into my system that’s pretty cool for free antivirus software Microsoft Rocks
I Use Norton 2011
is it any good
I have use Kaspersky before and I find it good. However my PC was still infected with new viruses. Right now I am using a new software. I found Atanium spyware protection at http://www.ataniumsoftware.com/products/pc-spyware-protection and it works so good in filtering all kinds of viruses without affecting my PC performance. I think it’s also included on the top 10 best spyware software. Well, based on my observation, it’s the best! 🙂
ive been using Kaspersky for 3 years now, never had any serious virus problems nor firewall intrusions. Kaspersky is the best. Rated Advanced+ by AVComparatives.org see for yourselves.
I still use KIS7, but I’ll change it soon.
I am happy to be here
i’m using kaspersky 2011. just buy the activation code for only rm16. 100+ days remaining since im using it last year. actually what is the differences between KAV and KIS ?
KAV is just the antivirus only. While KIS is antivirus with the Firewall and Anti-Spam protection.
last week i found a 60% discount on http://www.anti-virus4u.com/
Article is giving really productive information to everyone. Well done.
I Agree with… Since am also using Kaspersky With their version 5.0 onwards, they are always different and unique, In less amount they give greater security, I like it very much, because while I play with virus to test it, my companion ( KIS) always saves me, and not it making unnecessary file as virus, such as crack, keygen etc. they make flag for system harmful files only…
i choose NPAV. net protector+anti-virus+total internet security. its the best of all.
yes it’s True that Kaspersky is the best but is far away from being light 😉
It is not light? What antivirus which is effective and light?
hi cool post !! i think the best is Zenok Free Antivirus im using this one and my computer is safe all the time here is my recomendation my friends 🙂 http://www.zenok.com/en/free-antivirus/
