What software do you use to read RSS Feed? I personally use FeedReader. FeedReader is a freeware which you can use to subscribe and read RSS feeds. It is easy to use and manage. You can download it for free here: Download FeedReader
How to use it?
FeedReader is easy to use. All you have to do is, go to the website that you want to subscribe and find it’s RSS link. Usually the link marked with one of these icons:
After you found the link, copy the link (not the image link) and paste it in Add Feed (File > New > Feed) box. Then click Ok. FeedReader will start searching for the site’s feed. If the feed is found, FeedReader will display RSS feed from the site that you subscribed.
Do you have an example?
Ok, for an example, copy my site’s RSS feed link below and paste it in the Add Feed box. Then click OK. After awhile, you will get my site’s feed in your FeedReader. It’s simple. Copy and paste. :d
Why do we need a FeedReader (or aggregator)?
With FeedReader, you can get latest updates from the site that you subscribed without you have to visit or open the site. Each time the site updated, you’ll get notice from FeedReader. FeedReader will display unread posts/news directly. So you don’t have to waste your time by visiting your favourite sites just want to check whether they have published new posts/news or not.
I don’t like FeedReader. I want something else.
Sure. If you don’t like FeedReader (I hope you are not 🙂 ), you can use FeedDeamon (30 days trial) or GreatNews. But I never use one of these two softwares, so I don’t know how to use it. Maybe some of you who are using these two softwares can post some comments below. :d
Good news for Firefox users
If you use Firefox, there are extensions that you can use to read RSS feeds in your Firefox web browser. Here are two aggreagators that I used before:
Wizz RSS News Reader 2.1.3
NewsFox 0.5.2
Both of them works great but I more prefer to FeedReader because of it’s features. 🙂

ako guna browser punye rss reader je.. malas nak bukak banyak2 aps.. ako guna maxthon browser. senang jugak guna dia punya sidebar tu dah leh nampak feeds mana yang ada update.. 🙂

hm.. dulu ako guna thunderbird untuk read rss reader., well actually sumenye sebab ako taknak guna banyak applications.. kalau guna opera 9 lagi bagus bila ko leh browse internet, read email, ngn read rss, ngn bit torrent skali dalam 1 application.. hohoho~ ako tgh tunggu opera 9 official la ni… \:d/
Aku lebih prefer Firefox lagi. Btw skang ni Firefox aku cam ada problem pas aku update. Memory cam leak je… Habis memory aku die gune… Hu3.
