thanks for posting this alert sounds :)))
i badly needed to have this back in my yahoo messenger media file.. i really love this old sounds alert, hearing it really makes me very happy..

hello… if u still like to hv file of this old ym sound just click the word “this file” in d number 1. instruction of the above post for u to download.
then there will be an alert at the bottom of this page saying “Do you want to keep old_sounds.exe anyway?” it’s up to u if u like to keep or discard it but what i did is i click the word keep…
then u hv to go to ur FOLDER C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\Downloads, in the download folder u will find a file named old_sounds.exe
open that file, click run and the WinZip self extractor – old_sounds.exe will come out.
click unzip then close.
you can check the sound u downloaded to ur folder c:\program files\Yahoo!\Messenger\Media or u can check it when u login to ur yahoo! messenger privacy options – alerts and sounds…
then click browse and will prompt another window Look in: Media folder and u will see the 21 sounds that u downloaded. i hope this cod help..

It’s so good to hear the “real sounds” after setting them in Preferences –> Alerts & Sounds.
