This is a picture taken by Jason Bettineski. This data center is located in Oregon. I never see any data center building and this is the first time I see it. Although it is just a picture but at least I know how data center looks like.

    Only one pic? I thought I’d see pics of the insides.

    the big blocks on top of the building must be the air conditioner… servers in there must be living like in artic

    yea. i think the same too. they must be their air conditioner for the servers.

    Howdy!

    While this isn’t a look inside Google’s data center, this company has a video of their data center that’s pretty cool. What it doesn’t show, though is the generators and mechanical infrastructure, which is pretty interesting in and of itself.

    They have pictures of their data center in Utah and show their disaster tolerance systems (the building is literally mounted on rubber pads!), fire supression, power backup, physical (building) security, physical equipment security, and so on. It’s amazing how much is involved in building a data center.

    I THOUGHT I WOULD SEE THE ENTIRE INFRA OF THE GOOGLE BUT ITS A NORMAL PIC THAT I SEE DAILY….
    CANNT I SEE PICTURE GALARY OF THE GOOGLE SERVER ROOM….HOW THE MACHINES ARE PLUGED ETC.
